Dixon
Yacht Design was responsible for the concept development, naval
architecture and exterior styling of the Sencora 37 metre. Considerable
thought went into the lifestyle of potential owners of the vessel
and this is reflected in the yachts remarkable flybridge area which
has grown from the 'traditional' control area of the yacht into
a full size relaxation and entertaining space. On the flybridge,
which occupies well over 80% of the length of the vessel are to
be found a jacuzzi, a dining area for at least 12, an enormous sunbathing
pad plus a barbecue and a pantry.
The yacht,
which is built using lightweight, but immensely strong composite
materials, also benefits from a newly designed wide beam, semi-planing
hull, which as well as contributing to the amount of space available
both internally and externally, also provides excellent performance
up to 30knots depending on the engines chosen.
